Pam....hope your first shot went well...we all handle it so differently, the effects so different, yet the same....you will do just fine...hold to the thought that you can...and that others of us have gotten through it...as will you.

Holding you in thought and prayer,

Lee

PS. Mr. Pete...hate to say it...but no upset here!..hug

Hello everyone,
I have great news..........My first shot went really well. I took it @ 3pm yesterday, came home and ate a good dinner and feel asleep on the couch. I got up and brushed my teeth and went to bed and slept for another 6 hours. No sides as of yet, just some aches in my muscles and joints. I can handle that.I made sure that I was well hydrated so I did spend alot of time in the bathroom getting rid of the excess fluid. I am so glad that I finallly started, the waiting and wondering was the main stressor for me. I am so thankful that I have all of you to lean on and to talk to. I think my husband got alittle scared when he listened to all of the mental side effects that this treatment can cause. He told me he would be on his best behavior.LOL time will tell if that happens. (he really is a good guy) I actually feel pretty dog on good this morning, even alittle giddie.
Pete, thanks for all the concern, please leave your nails alone now, I `m doing good. God bless you my friend. I will keep ya all posted in these threads. Have a great weekend everyone

Pam,

That's pretty much how my first shot went, too. It was almost a non-event after all the scary stories.

all the best,

Max

Pam,

So happy to here your first shot was an easy event.  You have met the fear of first shot, and did just fine.  Take it one day at a time and hang in there.  We have great faith in you.

Blessings,

Lee
