Seems that the liver is somewhat happier just based on labs. Of COURSE, it would have been too much to expect a call from anyone so I called and asked for my labs and the fax popped out my results. Since I don't know much about rejection I am happy to say that I think it's improved significantly.

AST DOWN from 179 to 107
ALT DOWN from 170 to 117
Bili DOWN from 1.3 to 0.8
The only thing that went UP was my Alk Phos which went from 155 to 183...not much of an increase.
So, I conclude, since my transplant team doesn't voice an opinion, that I am a much improved version of myself.

Better numbers are cool.  You feeling any different at all?

Odd though that you expect someone to spend all their time informing you of what is going on.  Dang just 'cause it's your liver and your body, I mean come on Robin, how self centered of you.  Shheeeessshhhh, you'd think they didn't have anything better to do.....  Grin

You think they would have called  Shocked gee whiz. I guess healthcare has gotten to the point where you have to diagnois yourself, then put a foot up someones hiney to get someone to do somethin for you.

Unbelievable.

Hope you are feeling better Robin.

Glad you are the tireless mystery solver. My docs usually say if I don't hear, not to worry - fine by me, but in this case you have a right to want a tad more respect if nothing else.

You go girl!

Now this is reason for celebration!!!!  Robin Bobbin, what a relief to hear the liver's not so po'd anymore.  As simple as an adjustment in meds did the trick!  Yippie!!!

Tomorrow, you are in my prayers for the biopsy of your mouth.  Does that mean your mouth will be out of commission for awhile and you won't be able to scold me???.. LOL  Huh Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Big hugs and lotsa love,  Kiss
