denden -
Sorry for the HCV backhand. It never gets better I am afraid to say. But, I always try to remember the kinda corny country song by Garth Brooks - "Some times I thank God for unanswered prayers..." Basically, what may seem like extreme bad news, might just be the window to something different and less harsh than what you wanted in the 1st place.

I am also a nonresponder - tried interferon once a week/riba for 3 months - got yanked, then infergen once a day/riba for another 3 months right after the 1st go - got yanked, and then maintenance of just interferon once a week - got yanked after less than a month. By then I was losing my mind, was suicidal, was a maniac - okay, let's say it - I went crazy. Now I am on the transplant list. It isn't my favorite, but in the meantime I am living my life with more joy and gusto than I ever have before - believe me, I've known myself my whole life!

Any, I wish you better answers very soon so you can live with as much comfort and joy and hope as is possible.
