Hi All -

I agree with Pancho's point about the rest of my usable organs, particularly the last lines about the greater need, not the greater purse.  Those who do not have either good insurance or or enough money are one of the key reasons why HCV and all other liver tp needs, need to have better awareness and more fund-raising, etc.

I was clearly told to start thinking of ways to raise a million dollars for all the in case scenarios re: my tp.  (That's a lot of cookies to bake and sell!)  Seriously, the $ would be placed in a trust account with the American Liver Society to oversee and dispense for my needs first.  The amount(s) not needed by me would remain in trust for the next guy.

I also will put it in my will just to make sure this happens.

Hank -

No harm, no foul, chickens or geese.  The only experience I have is what I have shared with you all here.  My hope is that I have all I need when I need it, but I am aware of friends and relatives that there are those who belong in line ahead of me.  Part of the thing about Cape Cod is that people in these little villages do come together to help a neighbor in need.  I certainly don't want to ask in anyway for a pass of the hat, but will if I must for myself, and will always fill other hats or get others incited to for someone else.

All in all, no offense, this is a long scary and rough road for all of us.
