Excellent book,  extremely well written,  comprehensive,   endorsements by Western and Eastern specialists, a wealth of information concerning a wide range of conditions associated with hcv, alternative choices, lifestyle issues,  diet,  understanding tests,  and  personal accounts.  Highly recommend it.

I'm in the middle of this book and have learned more about  HCV from it than I ever did from dr.s or other books.  This guy really researched it and is open-minded about lots of choices and alternatives.  I also recommend it.  Smiley

The Hepatitis C Handbook, Matthew Dolan's new second edition should be given to every new patient who is first diagnosed or starting treatment.   Because I wasn't sure what I was in for, I was uncertain about what kind of book to buy.  But, this book is easy to understand and they cover everything you will need to know about HepC, medications, diet, exercise.

It is a must read.

Good Luck!

Matthew Dolan's book is the best.  Save your money for this one.  It is smart, comprehensive, compassionate, open-minded.  I almost wrote Dolan a fan letter because his book made such a difference to me.  it's an amazing book.

This is well researched, easily read book. It's somewhat dated, but tx hasn't changed at all since publication. Dolan gives equal time for all treatments options: conventional, traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic, vitamins, etc, homeopathy, and naturopathy.

I bought a used copy for $3 US. It's a five star book.

Update: Dolan predicted the new generation drug therapies that still do not exist to have been in place fully five years ago. Everyone writing at the time predicted the same. Does that speak to any of you still waiting for the miracle?
