HCV Anonymous--United We Stand
As We Grow in Numbers, We Multiply in Strength

To
assist hepatitis patients and their loved ones in taking control
of their spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional health by
providing current, comprehensive information in one source.
To
bring together: hepatitis support groups, patients, and
organizations that serve people with hepatitis to work towards
the common goal of unity, education, support, and spiritual
awareness. By
linking resources we are creating a centralized community as
well as the largest network for support ever.
HCV
Anonymous is run by the World Service Organization (HCVAWSO). The
HCVAWSO
is the centralized governing body that provides structure for
the General Service Office (GSO), Area Service Representatives
(ASR’s), and Group Service Representatives (GSR’s).
The
HCVAWSO has the power to accept or decline donations or
apply for grants. It designs, approves, and distributes literature. It
also provides access
to affiliated programs such as conferences, public service announcements, etc.
In
addition, we provide a national HCV Anonymous Hotline for
questions, support and referral, and to identify resources to develop
funding, research, prevention, and treatment.
We
believe that through HCV
Anonymous' World Service Organization and implementation of on-line meetings,
regular
meetings, workshops, and our Hot Line no one infected with or affected by HCV will ever have to be alone.
 We
maintain our perspective through knowledge, unity, and a common
mission. Our
membership is comprised of individuals from all walks of life,
relating to each other in friendship and mutual accountability.
This site is meant to be a reference point for unity and the
sharing of resources.
It is designed to be non-sensational, non-commercial, and
impartial.
There is no "authority structure" as such. It is mainly volunteers who seek to work together in many
contexts. By committing ourselves to service and unity, we
are not demanding uniformity.
We meet on points of accord.
Each of us believes that together we can make the world a
better place to live for everyone infected with or afflicted by HCV.
